Comment fields for each control maturity level
When populating an assessment, MyCSF should offer comment fields for each control maturity level instead of just having one big comment field for the whole requirement. See attached pic.

Field for HITRUST to explain why a submission was reverted
When HITRUST reverts an submitted assessment back to either an assessor or to the subscriber, MyCSF should have a field available for HITRUST to state why the assessment was reverted. This field should be required, and this field's contents should be made visible to the subscriber and assessor.

Requirement Sorting Within MyCSF
domains, this sort order (whether ascending or descending) makes it easier to quickly find specific requirements. This is especially true when working between MyCSF and an assessment test plan (typically during scoring, commenting, and evidence mapping), because test plans tend to feature this sort order also.

Drop Down for Contact and Interviewed Names
Have the ability to have once place where interviewed names would be captured and then when populating the control artifacts, you have the ability to select from a drop down of pre-populated names and titles, instead of having to type each persons name and title for each and every control. This would save time.

Under "Assessment Options," consider rephrasing "Report Processing" in the first question. It is confusing.
Under "Assessment Options" consider rephrasing this question as follows - the "Report Processing" piece being capitalized makes it seem like a specific offering type, which is confusing.
- From: "Will this Assessment be submitted to HITRUST for Report Processing?"
- To: "Will this Assessment be submitted to HITRUST for certification?" or something similar.2 votes -
Control Category can be included as part of illustrative procedure or control requirement
Currently we cannot identify the control category for a particular control requirement. Subscribers who opt only for 3 month CSF subscription without reporting functionality, we cannot identify the control category. It would be helpful if the control category is included like other details like - Control unique ID, Level and illustrative procedures.

Suggested User Guide links do not lead to correct page
When the "need help?" popup shows up and suggests related pages from the MyCSF User Guide, the links just go to the User Guide landing page rather than the specific page that addresses the question.

Marking a Control Automatically Complete Prematurely
The control should not be marked as completed until there is 1) N/A marked 2) 100% inheritance marked or 3) where the control is applicable (partially or in whole) AND inheritance is 0-75%, linked documents applied with subscriber comments.
Controls are being marked completed (automatically by the system) when Inheritance is applied, even if the inheritance is less that 100%. The subscriber still needs to add their control testing for their portion of the control. The control should be deemed incomplete until they have linked documents and subscriber comments. Otherwise the status wheel is an inaccurate representation of the status…

Assessment Object
Please consider not tying certified assessment to the assessment object. This way, customers can use MyCSF to house all the previous assessment reports in one location without needing to purchase additional assessment objects.

Assessor Contacts
It would be faster, more efficient, if the Assessor Contacts can be input at the beginning (and if needed, ad hoc) and then a drop down of those contacts appear for each control instead of having to type them in over and over in each control.

I received a generic email that there was a notification. I logged in and saw that something was assigned to me with no detail. How do I find what was assigned to me with out reading the whole assessment?

There should be a way to "brand" the MyCSF portal by having the ability to upload a (custom) corporate logo.

Buy a report credit in MyCSF
MyCSF should be updated to allow the subscriber the ability to purchase report credits within MyCSF with a check out feature similar to what you have in the HITURST academy.

Quarterly MyCSF Release Notes
I suggest that HITRUST publishes a quarterly release note digest to summarize changes for users. Under the Release Notes section of MyCSF Help, no new notes have been published since June 2021; yet, MyCSF has changed dramatically (especially regarding workflow and status management) since this time. The digests can be published under the Release Notes section, or (even better) emailed to registered MyCSF users.
